On March 27, 2015 Dr. Duke Pesta spoke on the dangers of Common Core. No doubt one of the most outspoken critic of the Common Core State Standards, Dr. Pesta exposes the origins and dangers of the Common Core scheme. Through his and other's efforts, people are beginning to fight back on behalf of their children. Dr. Duke Pesta received his M.A. in Renaissance Literature from John Carroll University and his Ph.D. in Shakespeare and Renaissance Literature from Purdue University. He has taught at major research institutions and small liberal arts colleges and currently is a professor of English at the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh and the Academic Director of Freedom Project Education.
